Heather Rodgers is an animator and compositing artist with a background in traditional and mixed media animation techniques. She has worked on a variety of productions for film, television, and web series at MPC Film, Awesome Inc., Rooster Teeth, and Global Mechanic Media. Her credits include Sonic the Hedgehog, Dolittle, Birdgirl, The Hunt for the Oldest DNA, RWBY, and Red Vs. Blue. She also independently makes animations that feature a variety of materials and techniques, resulting in a distinctive style that plays strongly on texture and color.
Her short animated films have been featured in and won awards at film festivals internationally, including Cinema World Fest Awards, KineNova International Film Festival, and, the Irvine International Film Festival. She graduated from Bennington College with a B.A. in Animation and Music, and she received an M.F.A. in Animation from the University of Edinburgh College of Art.
